Welcome to the website for the 9-Hole Golf league at Olympia Fields Country Club.

Our purpose is to promote and encourage women's golf, good sportsmanship and sociability and to teach the members the rules, regulations and etiquette of golf.

We welcome players new to the game, as well as more experienced players.

The 9-Hole League offers flexible play times and a great opportunity to enjoy the game of golf without a lot of competitive pressure.

If you have children, find out about Kid's Club for babysitting while you golf with us!

A recent study shows that the average American golfer walks about 900 miles a year
Another study shows that American golfers, on average, drink about 22 gallons of alcohol a year.
That means, on average, American golfers get about 41 miles to the gallon.
Kind of makes you proud.

THE RESULTS OF THE 2009 BIRD COUNT ARE IN!

As you know, Olympia Fields Country Club is an official Audubon Golf Bird Sanctuary. In May, the 2009 official count was done. Eighty-nine different species were counted. Among golf course sanctuaries, Olympia Fields Country Club places 1st in the state of Illinois, 1st in the Mississippi Great Lakes Flyway and tied for 3rd in the nation.
We greatly appreciate the talented birders who came to help with the count!
